How voteinwi.com is protected, and how to report a problem.

How the site is built

• Every page is served over HTTPS, and browsers are told to use HTTPS for this site every time.
• There are no accounts, passwords or logins, and no database of visitor information.
• Pages are static files with a strict content security policy. They can't be embedded in other sites, and they load scripts, styles and fonts only from this site (plus Cloudflare's analytics).
• The contact forms run on a small Cloudflare Worker that doesn't store what you send.

Report a problem

If you find a security problem with this site, email info@voteinwi.com with "Security" in the subject. Tell me the page, what you found and how to reproduce it. I'll confirm I got it and let you know when it's fixed. Please give me a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else.

Please don't test in ways that could hurt the site or its visitors: no denial-of-service attacks, spam, social engineering, or attempts to read other people's messages.

Safe harbor

If you look for security problems in good faith and follow this page, I won't take legal action against you or report you to law enforcement for it. That means you avoid harming the site, its visitors or their data, you only access what you need to show the problem, you don't keep or share anyone else's information, and you give me a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. If you're not sure whether something is allowed, ask me first. This covers this site only, not the other sites it links to.

Election systems

This site isn't part of any election system. It doesn't handle voter registration, ballots or results. If you find a problem with an official election website or system, report it to your state's election office.
